I have often wondered. “What is the annual loss of life related to the Full Moon Parties”? In any civilized country this so called party would have been stopped a long time ago! The victims are usually very young and the suffering caused to the grieving families by this so called party is just unimaginable.

1 1/2 month after the Full Moon Party I not see any chance to find him. He probably took some magic mushrooms and than drowned in the sea. It's sad but why else somebody would just vanish into the air. That is another reason why these parties have to be stopped, there is no security. Nobody really watch what happened at the shore. I saw sometime drugged people swimming towards the sea. Nobody tried to stop them.

The Full Moon Party is only to make business. For the casualties nobody cares.

My daughter Claire and her boyfriend were attacked with a hammer by island residents in April (see report on here about it). I feel very lucky that that they are both still alive.

Dudes does anybody know how he got to the full moon. Did he take his bike over the mountain.Why i asked is that many times people have gone of the road down the side of the mountain and only to be found many months later when theres work been done on that part. I have lost many friends to that road as i'm sure most of you have.Someone out there should get a S & R party together. I'm in for sure and i know that most of you will be aswell...

My son is fortunately back safe and sound. he did stupidly sleep on the beach and had his driving license stolen off him and his camera also cut from him. He hitched a lift as no money and ended up in a hut where he managed to escape!There is a lot more that I have not been told about!

The above comments are insensitive and untrue. I know Danny and he is still missing and has made no contact with any of his friends or family, which is extremely out of character for him. Someone pathetic decided it would be funny to copy his profile picture from facebook and pretended to be him, but it was taken down as it was all lies. This is a serious case and his loved ones don't need to be reading comments suggesting that this is not a real case. It is VERY real & the search continues.

I am so unhappy to read all the bullshit that people write!!! If you cant help dont write if you can please post....condolences post also with best wishes....we dont know if anything is true or not just hop that if it happens to you or your friends or family hope is all people have let them hang on to that till they know.
My friend was killed a month ago at the full moon party....that was and is no joke...i was there his name Chetan i wish his family the best....and for Dannys family....i hope he turns up sooner or later to put your mind at ease.

I'm so sorry about your friend, it seems there's a lot of nasty things that go on at the full moon parties. I'm a friend of Danny's, and hope to see some positive or helpful comments when I log on to this page, so I agree with you on the 'bullshit' that gets written. We just want to know what's happened to him, whether he be alive or dead. It's been 2 months now, and it's out of character for him to disappear and not contact his family and friends.
He was last seen/heard in the 'Backyard Bar' the day after the Feb. full moon party. Please, does anyone have any more information?

i notice from the reports that the only thing missing from his room is his passport. it may be a long shot, but Do you know if he rented a motorbike , as it is usually required as a deposit. Maybe a trip around the rental agencies around thongsala and srithanu would be a good idea to see if they are missing a bike.

My heart goes out to his family, and i hope that he is found soon.
