Time again to do a bit of advertisement for one of my customers here on Koh Phangan Paradise Island :-)
If someone is looking for a place to stay at one of the most beautiful places here on Ko Pangan then probably Plaa’s Thansadet Resort might be the right choice. Plaa Thansadet Resort is located at Thansadet Beach on the east coast of Kho Panghan Island and just takes about 30 minutes to get there with a taxi from Thongsala at the pier. Than Sadet beach can also be reached by boat from Hadrin beach and just takes a couple of minutes. Thansadet, based within the National Park, is well known for its waterfalls and many Thai Kings have visited this ‘magical’ place and carved their names into the massive rocks that grace the river.
Thansadet has indeed ‘magical’ powers and every time I go there it just feels amazing, relaxed and gives you that special smile on your face ;-) The waterfall is something you really shouldn’t miss and even don’t hesitate a second and take a refreshing bath there. You will feel the difference! Than Sadet has also wonderful jungle treks to offer and you can explore the nature around Thansadet and walk to the neighboring beaches. Thansadet beach is perfect for a sunbath, swimming and a very relaxed day with actually doing nothing at all!
Plaa Thansadet Resort is located up the hills on the left side of the beach and offers simply the best view over the bay. They recently finished their sea view terrace and there you are able to sit, relax, drink, have some food and enjoy the view over this beautiful bay. Plaa is well known to serve the most delicious food at Thansadet and the menu has a wide variety of dishes to offer.
