Beware of J.S Hut Bungalows Thansadet Beach Koh Phangan

At least once a week, the bungalow owners, regularly rip people off in every manner, including injury. A small scratch on the motorcycle cost 8000 baht for us and we settled for 5000 ... otherwise, they threatened us with injury and would not return our passport. We watched them attack a tourist 3 days ago and he ended up in the hospital with stitches for moving out. This is not the first time! Another english couple who asked to move out after spending 2 weeks already were spat on and yelled at. Don't stay at this place! They are dangerous!

The 4 bedroom 4 bathroom villa with swimming pool and jacuzzi suitable for up to 8 people, is set within the lush jungle of Than Sadet overlooking the sea and bay, 300 meters from Than Sadet's sandy beaches and National Park. The house has been designed to be as open plan as possible to maximize views from all rooms and to take full advantage of the cooling sea breezes.

The villa is set within 2200 metres of tropical jungle gardens leading down to it's own small private sandy beach area set amongst the granite rocks, with steps leading directly into the sea.

There is also a 2 seater sea kayack available for use, supplied free of charge for our guests. In this you can visit the next beach along Tong Nai Pan, which takes about 30 minutes stopping on the way at Koh Kong which is a tiny island in which you can walk around in less than 10 minutes and offers magical views of Than Sadet and Tong Nai Pan. There is also a great coral reef surrounding this island perfect for snorkelling or fishing.

EVER FEEL LIKE YOU ARE BEING CLOSELY WATCHED HERE ON KOH PHANGAN PARADISE ISLAND?

In many cases you probably are! Just thought people reading this from overseas may wan't to think twice before checking into low budget resorts.

A young Canadian hetrosexual couple ( yes they do exists on Koh Phangan ) rented a cheap bungalow for a 'lets love one another session". During their horizontal dance they liked to leave the light on. After some time they noticed a hole in one of the walls with this eye staring back at them. The guy stealthly approched the hole and poked his finger through giving the intruding eye a painful shock! The next day a sweet little Cambodian girl came back from the hospital with a patch covering her eye. Noticing this the couple felt bad so were very kind to her and bought her something to eat and pretending like the event never occured.

Recovered - Fire at Milky Bay Resort Koh Phangan!

A fire broke out at the reception building in the Milky Bay resort on Koh Pha-Ngan Paradise Island.

No one was injured, but there was extensive damage to the roof and building. Investigators concluded the fire was caused by faulty wiring.

The building is now being refurbished and will be open again in a few days. The reception area was temporarily moved to the gym area until the refurbishment is completed. The resorts facilities include a swimming pool, herbal sauna, massage room, full gym, pool table, restaurant with live music and bar.

There are parties each black moon, half moon and full moon with transportation provided to each party venue. Volleyball tournaments are also played with the prize being a bottle of Samsong whiskey.
