Manager of restaurant on Koh Phangan found dead at Surat Thani pier
A restaurant manager was found dead at the night boat pier in Surat Thani’s Mueang district on Thursday morning.
The body of Somporn Saita, 37, was found lying on the sidewalk at the Surat Thani night boat pier. Police said that his mouth was foaming.
He was not carrying any ID card so police used his mobile phone to call his relatives and friends to learn his identity.
His friends told police that he managed a restaurant on Koh Pha Ngan and had taken a night boat back to Surat Thani after work on Wednesday night to visit his son on the mainland.
His body was sent for an autopsy at the Surat Thani Hospital.
