Electric Power Lines
Rumor has it on the Island of Madness that the main power lines in the north part of Koh Phangan Island are to be replaced after only six years in service.
It seems that the massive increase in aircon units and housing, resort boom have meant that the supply lines are becoming over loaded and causing the system to trip out. Funny i always thought when the power failed it was another farang rapped round a power pole, seems i was wrong 
As yet there is no date for the project to start, but the word is that in the spring of 2005 additional lines will be slung on the existing poles to ease the problem.
