Food Center – Culinary tourism reaches Thong Nai Pan Yai

The culinary court has been born on the main road of Thong Nai Pan Yai across from the corporate entity of 7-11 mini market.

The delicious lane has a variety of very cheap Thai dishes.  Fresh fish, BBQ, fruit shakes and traditional Thai food like Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Red Thai Curry or Sweet Mango with sticky rice are a few examples.

It is set in a quiet and well lit area with a comfortable dinning area. The ambience is welcoming and there is even local entertainment, in the form of live music played every night.

From what I have seen no alcohol is served at this venue but you can purchase at nearby 7-11 mini market.  If you crave a western slice, pizza is available to satisfy your craving.

The experience is a positive one and the tastes of Koh Phangan Island become a fond memory for the whole family.

The food center is open daily from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. depending on number of tourists visting this delicious food lane.

Thong Nai Pan Yai is located at the north east coast of the island.
