Yeah, more ferries added for full-moon party ravers to Koh Phangan island

With attendance at Koh Pha-Ngan’s infamous full-moon parties expected to jump in coming months as high tourist season arrives, Raja Ferry Port Co is adding more trips to its schedule.

The company announced on Monday that, from next Sunday (September 3.rd) until the end of the year, it would add two more ferry trips per day to Koh Phangan from Surat Thani on the main land for five days spanning each month’s party.

There are currently ferry trips to and from Koh Phangan island every two and a half hours. 

The ferries will begin carrying party-goers back and forth on each full-moon party day and for two days before and after, now also departing from Don Sak Pier at noon and from Koh Phangan back to the mainland at 3pm.
