Full Moon PartyHigh Alert

YES ;) Smartphone thief gets caught by Google Photos selfie auto upload!

A few days ago Koh Phangan News Headquarters got contacted by Priscilla Eyles, 30 years, from London.

Priscilla went to the last Full Moon Party on the 21.st April 2016 and was enjoying herself with friends at the Sunrise Bar Drum & Base stage on main Had Rin beach.

Around 3 a.m. in the morning her bag with mobile phone, money and bank card got stolen by a thief.

A few days later, 25.th April 2016, the first selfies of the Thai thief and his friends posing auto-appeared on Google Photos, as Priscilla setup her mobile phone to auto upload pictures to Google Photos.

How sweet is that 😉

So, here they are! The clever smart phone thieves posing 🙂

It might perhaps be a good idea to re-check your auto upload settings on your mobile phone?

A BIG thanks to Priscilla Eyles for providing us with the news and best of luck to all the smart phone users out there …

Greetings

Koh Phangan News Team
